Some things I believe and some things I realized

Somewhere I read that we are living in interesting times.
Interesting times indeed…
The more I look around and the more I try to understand,
the more I realize this feature in these times we’re living in.

I was thinking again about God
And His various ways of presenting Himself
And relating to His creatures,
His creations.
For some time I’ve been thinking about God.
Well, I guess we’ve always been thinking about Him,
But lately I’ve been also thinking in a more pragmatical way.
I’ve been thinking about things that lead people from different religions to have so much confidence that their faith is the only one that is right,
The only path leading to salvation.
For example I’ve been thinking about if the idea of God being One
Must be in opposition to the idea of the Divine Trinity.

I’ve been thinking about God being One
But presenting Himself in many different ways
Taking many different names and shapes
To people from different cultures,
With different backgrounds, languages,
Different ways of perceiving everything.

If we think about thousands of years ago,
No one could ever guess that the whole world would become just one thing.
For a long time there was not much communication between cultures.
They started to get to know each other in the east first. India, China...
A long time before the Europeans started to spread their wings around the globe.
And they already had their own relationship to the Creator.
Now if I believe that God is One, and that He created everything,
I don’t see how their God can be considered another God,
Since they praise the God who created them.
Well, maybe in Hinduism they have many gods,
But for me they are just different “personalities” of God.
Since God is everything, and everything is God, He is the only One.
Being everything, we may assume that God can have different “personalities”,
Like the Creator, the Maintainer, the Destroyer, the Mother.
Well, I don’t believe God can be a static, inactive being, since in everything He created there seems to be movement,

I don’t know very well where I’m going, but I also really wanted to say something about how I understand these concepts of God is One and Divine Trinity as complementary, rather than opposing.
Well, I think the “revelation” I got about this one was very simple:
Just like the streams that flows, and the ice that freezes, and the steam that vaporizes are always water, they never stop being H2O, right? Is just a different way it can group its particles. So I believe that in a similar way God can be Father, be Son, and be Spirit.

I also believe he was blue, as a child...
